We receive patients of all ages. We recommend starting routine examinations as soon as the first teeth appear in the mouth. A short checkup, lasting only a few minutes, can make all the difference in children. We practice prevention to detect potential problems before they happen thus, providing parents with professional guidance to facilitate their job. The frequency of routine examinations is recommended according to your needs. Your dentist, in collaboration with your hygienist, will be able to discuss the different treatment options available to you so that you can make an informed decision according to your needs.

Root canal treatments consist of cleaning and eliminating the infection of a tooth in order to preserve it. Whether it is a broken tooth, an abscess (infection), a blow received or a traumatized tooth, our team will be able to explain it to you.

Periodontitis is the disease of the gums and bone that affects nearly 75% of adults to varying degrees. This disease leads to tooth mobility and tooth loss. Screening tests for gum disease are performed during all types of appointments. Gingivitis treatments are done in the clinic, and we work with specialists called periodontists for more severe cases.

Dr. Tremblay has a keen interest in obstructive sleep apnea. She has followed several continuing education courses on the subject. She custom makes and monitors mandibular advancement orthoses (MAOs) for people who suffer from sleep apnea or heavy snoring. She also works with doctors at BMP Hospital to help patients regain restful sleep. MAOs, worn while sleeping, are a good alternative for patients who suffer from mild to moderate obstructive sleep apnea or who are unable to sleep with CPAP.

Whether you are wondering about bleaching, porcelain veneers, composite veneers (white filling) or crowns, our team will be able to answer all your questions. We can hide imperfections while keeping your natural smile. Several options are available to help you regain self-confidence!

Prosthodontic rehabilitation consists of restoring the primary function of your teeth: effective chewing and phonetics. This discipline consists of the restoration of natural teeth and the replacement of missing teeth. All options will be clearly explained to you to ensure you make the right choice according to your needs.

CEREC is the name of the technology that allows us to design computer-aided crowns and bridges (CADCAM). This process enables us to take digital impressions and make crowns in a single clinic appointment.

Removable dentures are dentures and partials. By evaluating your mouth, dentists will be able to find the solution tailored to your needs. Whether you need an immediate prosthesis placed in the mouth on the same day as tooth extraction or to make new prostheses, our team will guide you. These solutions can also be combined with implants to maximize comfort and stability.

Gum recessions (loosening of the tooth in the gum) can lead to dental hypersensitivity and aesthetic concerns. These gum defects can also evolve and lead to the loss of some teeth. A gum graft, which consists of surgery to repair (increase) the missing gum, would be recommended.

At each cleaning, complete examination or reminder appointment, the dentists screen for oral cancer and any other diseases that may occur in the mouth. Dentists looks not only at the teeth but also the tongue, cheeks, gums, hard palate, and soft palate. If there is a concern, a biopsy will be performed, or you will be referred to the appropriate specialists. Radiological examination is also an important screening tool we use.

Dental surgeries include the extraction of malpositioned teeth, with complex or very damaged anatomy. For example, wisdom teeth can be removed in young adults to prevent anticipated problems. Implant surgery involves replacing one or more teeth with a false metal root inserted into your jawbone. This is one of the most effective ways of replacing missing teeth. They are also used to regain more stability in removable complete or partial dentures (dentures and partials).
